Citizen Of The Year

How To Become A Citizen Of The Year Recipient?

Each year the Beecher Chamber of Commerce takes applications for nominations of a Beecher Citizen to be elected "Citizen Of The Year." A committee of at least three volunteers reviews all the applications and at our Golf Outing in September a "Certificate" is awarded to the winner.  The winner is asked to participate in the following years 4th of July Parade.

Eligible candidates must have lived in Beecher for at least 12 months.

This is not intended to be a popularity contest. To the contrary, the selection of the Citizen of the Year will be based on an evaluation of the degree of service each candidate has provided to the community. Help out the community, Volunteer to help the Chamber of Commerce, any and all of the local commissions, Go to this link to find a list of village commissions, and make your self stand out in our community.  One of your fellow volunteers or a friend of yours can submit an application to the Chamber of Commerce as a nominee.
